The University of the Cordilleras – College of Teacher Education (UC-CTE) led by the Academic Dean, Dr. Ramir S. Austria and its Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) Coordinator, Ms. Sheryl M. Atompag, once again demonstrated its excellence in teacher education, achieving remarkable results with a passing rate of 84.91% for the elementary level and 77.17% for the secondary level surpassing the national passing rate of 40.76% and 46.94% respectively during the March 2023 BLEPT last March 25, 2023.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced last May 19, 2023 that 24,819 out of 60,896 examinees successfully passed the March 2023 Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) for the elementary level, resulting to a passing rate of 40.76%. Meanwhile, 48,005 out of 102,272 examinees passed for the secondary level, resulting in a passing rate of 46.94%.
